High Volume Heavy Load Production Furnace

Situation:

Wire-Mesh Products, Inc. was called into a powder metal company by the OEM as the initial belt from a competitor lasted only two and half months (expected life was 6-7 months).

Findings:

Original belt was under extreme loading and created tensions that far exceeded its capabilities at operating temperature.

Solution:

Our engineering team and local sales representative worked closely with the OEM and the customer to identify a solution. As a result, we developed a new belt that had never been produced in the marketplace. This Wire-Mesh Products belt lasted the client 18 months – unprecedented belt life for this new, high volume, heavy load production furnace.
