Wire-Mesh Products Celebrates 40th Year as a National Leader in the Manufacturing of High-Performance Products

Founded in 1975, Wire-Mesh Products, Inc. has a longstanding history of product and service excellence. As one of the leading manufacturers of wire mesh conveyor belts and architectural mesh in the U.S., Wire-Mesh Products (WMP) has the ability to combine both theoretical analysis and practical experience in determining the best solutions for their customers.

As a second-generation family owned and operated business, Wire-Mesh Products is leading the industry in belt engineering and customer relationship management. With thirteen weaving machines and five welding tables in operation, WMP has the resources to not only consistently provide superior products and delivery, but to also stay on the forefront of product development and leveraging industry innovations.

Forty years ago, Wire-Mesh Products’ founders John Enright and Frank Mincarelli, pioneers in wire mesh belts and manufacturing, set out to establish a company focused on solving the hardest industry problems, hiring the absolute best, and delivering 100% customer success.  What initially began in a small, leased space with two weaving machines in York, Pa., increased in 1979 to four weaving machines and two welding tables.

Throughout the 1980s and early 90s, production grew steadily, and in the mid 1990’s, co-founder John Enright hired his sons-in-law, Richard Riva and Dustin Carl. The late 90s saw another surge in production, increasing operation to nine weaving machines and four welding tables. With the passing of John Enright in 2007, Richard Riva and Dustin Carl purchased Wire-Mesh Products and promoted Scott Devers from Purchasing Manager to Vice President of Purchasing.

WMP’s current leadership team has more than 155 years combined experience in the industry, with the current owners having more than 40 years of combined dedication to the business, the Purchasing Director, Welding Supervisors and head of the Weaving Department having more than 25 years’ experience each, and the Field Sales Representatives having more than a combined 50 years in the business.

President Richard Riva states, “Forty years ago, Wire-Mesh was launched with the mindset that a successful company could be created, attracting the most talented people in the industry by manufacturing superior products, nurturing a corporate environment of collaboration and innovation, and committing to our customers a high standard of excellence. Wire-Mesh has demonstrated this over 40 years, and we look forward to continuing that culture of innovation. We challenge you to find another company with as much consistent experience as ours.”

Wire-Mesh continues to maintain strong customer relationships, and often receives feedback from satisfied clients. Most recently, the Vice President of a large Northeast OEM said, “When we commission a new tunnel oven with a Wire-Mesh Products belt, we have confidence that we supplied our customer the best wire mesh belt on the market. Wire Mesh Products not only builds excellent quality belts, but provides the top service and engineering support in the industry.”
